It’s August women’s month, as we celebrated our mothers, sisters and partners on the 9th; this weekend we were obliged to attend An Ode for Women hosted by Urban Mosadi.
Urban Mosadi is a clothing store at 7 Sivewright Street in Maboneng, Johannesburg. They held their first market and art exhibition with an objective to embrace and promote women in business. The exhibition is also seen as a platform for women to socialise, contact and to create mutual rapports among themselves.
Women came out in numbers to showcase their brands, Luyanda Madonia the owner of Revolt clothing store established in 2015 focuses on selling edgy pieces, keeping up with trends. The store is predominantly online and they also do pop-up in markets around Jo’burg. A word from Luyanda, “Someone who enjoys mixing different textiles, patterns, someone who is not afraid to express themselves through fashion they should shop at Revolt.” Look out for Revolt clothing store as they are touring the country.
